HDV cassettes > ProRes HQ

I have several 60-min. Mini HDV cassettes shot on my Canon XL H1a that I'd like to have transferred to ProRes HQ. Anyone know anyone, or how I might accomplish this?

I have FCP 7, though minimal skills.

I have a source who will get them to ProRes 422 but the editor much prefers ProResHQ.

I'm an analog being and also well out of the loop.

Any guidance appreciated.

Re: HDV cassettes > ProRes HQ

There is no difference to your editor between ProRes 422 and ProRes HQ. ProRes HQ is massive overkill for HDV, you'd just be wasting space.
