Please help

Would someone please explain to me why I'm getting dark spots in the corners of my video footage. I'm using a one chip Sony camera and the only thing on the lens is a UV filter. I do zoom in sometimes. Here is a short movie and you can see what I mean about the dark spots in the corners.

that looks like vignetting and can easily be caused by the UV filter - try removing it and see if the problem goes away.

Some lower quality lenses will also do this if used wide open at full wide angle - stopping down the aperture should solve it in that case, but I think your problem is more likely the UV filter.
