What would the best way to get an LCD replace and how much, costwise? (Anyone ever have their LCD replaced?)

Canon Service is the place. Don't know the cost, but it will likely be more than $100. Call them if you're really interested. (You haven't had that cam very long, eh?)

Well, at the moment, I don't have any scratches, just some really minor smears. I wonder if I am doing anything incorrectly. The thing is when I shoot, I RARELY use the viewfinder, so the LCD screen is ALWAYS out. I just direct the pans and look into the LCD (I just prefer the LCD over viewfinder most of the time). And I notice that it has lots of tiny smear marks when the LCD is not turned on or when the subject is dark, you can see the smears. I get them like almost everytime I shoot! Has anyone else experienced this before either? Maybe I am just shooting in dusty areas? I never touch the LCD screen itself, but it always gets smeary (If that's a word) very fast...
