JVC decks at DVinfo.net

Does anyone have experience with JVC dv decks. They have some very affordable feature laden units comeing onto the market now that look very attractive compared to the much more expensive SONY's is there a real qualtiy difference or is Sony just milking their perceived quality and name for all it is worth?

Whenever this question comes up periodically, I usually post a link to a review of a JVC MiniDV/SVHS deck that I wrote last year.
