Gl-1 to Audigy

Not quite sure how to tell what kind of firewire to buy i.e. 4 to 6 pin, etc. I'm hooking up my GL-1 to an audigy sound card.

Yup, standard 4 to 6. Audigy is the bigger 6 pin, GL1 has the small 4 pin.

I have the Audigy with breakout box. It came with firewire cable to fit it's jack. I haven't used it yet, I have the DV Storm for that. I do know, that the Audigy does not use the standard firewire.

Even though I have a small, 2 port firewire card, I usually use the port on the audigy card - no problems yet with video capture or output.
