Video Switcher Questions

Is there a video switcher out there that will do a 16:9 image? Everyone I have talked to says they only do 4:3. We will be using xl2's in a live switching application and I would like to do it in 16:9 if possible.

Fireswitch

Depending on your budget, if all you need is straight cuts and you care about quality (suppose you're working with DV or HDV camcorders), you could use a firewire switch. Check out B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...shs=fireswitch

If you pockets are deep and you can benefit from the additional functions, the Sony Anycast Station now does 16:9 with the 2.0 firmware update.
