and tell me what it means. Is it a means for converting SD to HD?

Hi Jack,
yes, a quick look tells me that's what it does. However, most HD television sets already do this themselves, you would say. I guess the added value may be the quality of the scalers and the ability to attach more sources and switch between them. Remember that upscaling a SD source to HD will not really improve the resolution. It may look smoother, but it will not improve the level of detail in the image. Regs Pieter |

Thanks Pieter – I guess I was hoping for a miracle gadget that would convert SD output from my XL2 to high resolution images.
