lipstick on your car
Heya All,
Well a while ago i was preparing to shoot some 16mm footage, well the budget came, and i quite frankly don't want to push it that hard, so we are reverting back to DV, since this is just promo footage anyways. Now here is the question, we have a car roof scene and total permission to stick things onto the car with tape and such, and i need some roof and side moving scenes. I was thinking of using a lipstick camera, with a s-video cable going into my dv cam and recording that way. I know quality will be lost, BUT it is such quick cuts i am hoping nobody will notice. Can anyways suggest a good lipstick camera to look at? Are they all NTSC or are there pal ones, or do most just do both. Do they run on batteries, or need a 12v line or even A/C? And what is the general cost of something half decent? Anyways thanks for the help. Zac |

These are designed to go on hemlets for mountain biking/motocross, and I think they're fairly good quality from what I've seen in mountain bike movies. There's also this one: http://www.spylife.com/lipstickcam.html |
