"Video Streams" - Newbie Question

In the Cineform literature (website) regarding Aspect it talks about supporting multiple (up to 4?) video streams, yada, yada.

What is a video stream? I'm guessing it would be the clip(s) on one video track in a sequence/timeline? Does the term also include the audio track in the "stream"? If the logic is correct, then 4 video streams would be the clips on four video tracks in the same timeline/sequence?

Wrong Forum

Mods...I apparently was in the wrong forum when I submitted this. Could you move it to "Cineform Showcase" please or should I re-post it there?

Apologies.
