The HPX3000 Nat Geo footage I saw at the presser was simply the best looking HD footage I've seen in a LONG time.

I wouldnt worry too much, as the 150 is actually recording a variable of 21mbps up to 24mbps, which would bring it up to the equivalence of XDCam long gop @ 35mbps or maybe even 50mbps (without the 422 colour space) Interesting times ahead... |

They did have a working prototype of the HMC150 at the NAB booth. The live feed hooked up to a monitor showed good promise for low light performance. All I could get for a ship date was late this year. Although if Scarlet is under $3K I'm in no hurry to get my next camera. I just love what I can do with RAW from my Canon 30D.
