Free 16 gig card

I bought my hmc150 back in April and sent off to receive my free 16gig card shortly after but I still haven't seen it. Is there anyway to check on this?

Good question. I sent mine about 3 weeks ago. I think it said 6-8 weeks or something like that.

I hope it works out!

I got mine... and it had been so long I had forgotten about it. Around 2 months, maybe a little longer, seems the norm.

My rebate took about 7 weeks. You can go to http://www.panasonicconsumerrebates.com/ to check your status but really that website tells you next to nothing. It lets you know if they received your request -- that's about it. It doesn't update after they ship your rebate.

Do we request the card somehow?

Or do they know we should get it simply by registering the camera?

There was no rebate form in the camera box, and I saw nothing on the web site indicating what to do.

Help, please.
Thanks.

I got mine within 3 weeks, but that was no bargain....both of my Panasonic class 10 16GB cards have proven unreliable.

You can print the request form from here:

ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/pub/Panasoni...rm_2009-10.pdf

Be sure to:
1) include a copy of your original receipt, and
2) cut-out the label from the original box showing the UPC, s/n, and model no.

Then, just be patient.
HTH.
Am curious to see which arrives first, the card, or my free version/upgrade to Neo 2.5.

Cheers.
