A ? Legal Videographers using 130/160...

How are you setting up your scene files for depo work? I've played around and tried many. I just can't seem to get it "just right." What are you using?

Hi James

I don't shoot depos here but any indoor work I found that the scene file supposedly allocated to working under fluro isn't that good anyway. (It's F2 on your camera) I think that's because most strip lights nowdays are chosen for a normal balance and they tend to come in "Natural" or "Warm" colour temperatures.

The F1 scene file, for me anyway, is pretty insipid, especially with chroma level ..for indoor shoots I pull the Chroma up to +2 and use Detail at +2 ....keep Vertical Detail at zero as it might introduce noise.
The nicest gamma setting I find is to use BPress ...it gives a better contrast and I have my Matrix on Normal 2 (cos we are on PAL) so you could stick to Normal 1 - I usually modify the F1 setting as it's all zero anyway!!

I find that gives me a nice overall result under strip or CFL lighting.
