Why is this a deal, Frank? Does the GS-50 have anything in the way of dv quality to offer other than size? (I like the size, by the way.)

It's your basic mid-priced 1 chip cam, but not so mid-priced with this reduced price. It looks a lot like the Sony TRV22. (CCD size is 1/6 of an inch, from what I recall.) :D
