GS 100 remote working with DVX100 ?
Hi,
Is there aynone who can confirm that wired remote control from GS100 works with Panasonic DVX 100 remote jack. I want to build zoom contol but need this info first. Thanks Mike S. Cecotka |

nah mate, the plug is a different size :( the DVX remote input is smaller than the remote... woulda been nice actually :( |

Actually the GS100 mic/remote plug is different from that on MX5000 with additional outer rings and so on. I think exactly that outer rings are dedicated to the remote as you can plug normal mic in the same plug too. DVX 100 remote plug seem plain miniplug (if I'm right) so I don't expect to match to the GS100 at all. |

i doont know about the gs100, but the MX remote only has a record on/off button, zoom control and a still image cpture button, frm reading specs of teh gs remote, i think it has a built in mic???
the MX500 also has this ring ur referring to but even without the plug it wouldnt fit :( |
