Some new gs100 footage uploaded @ Guy's site

http://fortvir.net/modules.php?set_a...view_album.php

It's not spectacular footage by any means as i have still yet to get a tripod but there's two examples each of 60i 4:3, 60i 16:9 and pro-cine mode if anyone's interested. It's encoded to wmv9 at about half res.

Thanks, Tavis. Subtle difference in pro-cinema mode vs. regular.

yeah, it's more noticeable in some situations than others.

they are great grabs mate. I was surprised at the one with the church. i know that if i took that same shot with my mx-500 it would have had a hell of a lot more noise then that. are the ccd's different or the same? maybe they use better filters to get rid of the noise but that i great. with that kind of lighting my cam would have had browny gray dark tones.

Guy's website must be awfully big; webspace is expensive, or at least it is in Vancouver. Thanks, Guy, and Tavis!

I usually only charge about $10AUS/KB, but for you.... ;-).

Actually, I have one of the better hosting deals I have run across. Host is inexpensive ($8/month) and reliable. They unilaterally doubled my bandwidth from 20 to 40 Gig/month a few months ago without raising prices. They don't meter and the bandwidth is fully usable.
