Gs-400 specs

heh guys i decided to start a new thread.
I hope that this one is not as rediculous as the others.
the reason i started it is because i found a website with some specs on it. herre it is.

http://www.dcam.ru/Panasonic-PV-GS400.html

Just note the lux requirements. whats with that. who knows might turn out good. i realise that it will probably have infrared however wouldn't that give it 0 lux

heh guys our rubbish is leaking out all over the world.

http://www.videomax.ru/forum/forum_p...TID=4283&FID=2

Just note the specs on this website and take note of where they got it from. maybe we should all be sales people for pana. The way we are going people will be getting ripped off everywhere because of this rubbish

"ru" is Russian? So it would be the PAL version. Pana claims 12X so 10X is a mistake. 0 LUX requirements? We all know this is a load of M&M's. CCD size? Most likely the same CCDs as the MX5 and GS100, but this is spectulation. :-))

yes the fact remains that we wont know until we receive the official specs. when is that anyways????? I will note however that one of those sites i think is the panasonic site in Spain. and i think by memory that that is the one with the 10x and 1/6 ccd info. so something is obviously wrong over there. i feel that if you can disprove one thing (12x not 10x) then the rest of the info from any source is lacking credibility.

Well, according to Pana, 12X is correct and 1/6" CCDs is a guess---unless Pana is buying Sony chips or has decided to make their own lovely 1/4.7 chips. Who knows! Where's Pana with the info? Why the big secret? Actually, it's because it's too early. Pana's seems to be behind with their production or they're having problems with something, like back to the drawing board to fix this little thing---oops, and fix this thing too while you're at it. :-))

As we talked about Pana-ES, it has posted the specs of GS200 where it didn't know info for GS400.
If you want to know what specs Pana-ES has of GS400 in reality you need to look at their catalog (not web-specs).

the first post where is makes a reference to the lux I did not consider to use since there are a few things that are failse like the dimentions: 70x75x126 mm -gs200 and the LCD size - 2.5 instead of 3.5
