				Portable lighting for GS400

Hi, Will the Panasonic portable lighting unit, like VW-LDH3 3W, be useful for GS400 for low light shooting? If not, any recommendations? Eric. |

Yes, but it must be Japanese only model then. It works alright. Nothing really special, though. I like it because it works with the same battery as GS400. Let me look for the footage I tested with this light and I will post it on my blog. |

Even this 10 watt is not enough for some situation, so I don't know about 3 watt model that you were mentioning.

				Hot shoe pin out

Did really nobody find out more about the pin-out of the GS400's hot shoe?? I wish I had more information on that, then could probably try to build my own small video lamp or some kind of microphone adapter. Any information would be appreciated!! |

That's better than nothing and could help to figure out the configuration of the GS400's eight contact pins on the hot shoe! Please let me know if so! Thanks a lot!! |
