Wide angle lens with GS400 and Canon G2 at DVinfo.net

Hi,

I own a Panasonic GS400 and a Canon G2. I would like to know if I can use the same Wide Angle and Telephoto lens (with appropriate step up/down rings) for both the GS400 and G2?

You certainly can Anup. But before you splash out on adapter rings, simply hold up the lenses to both cameras and shoot some footage or use your TV as a big viewfinder. Check out the zoom range, and note any picture vignetting or other nasties.

Thanks Tom. I haven't yet bought the lens, but I wanted to know if we could use the same lens for both a camcorder and a digital camera. I will do as you suggested and see if do note any vignetting.
