Hey Felix and welcome to DVinfo!

The AG-DVC7P is a shoulder mount 1/4" single chipper if I remember correctly?

What was your main reasoning for purchasing this cam? I was always curious about it but have heard little as far as reviews go.

i originally bought it to do weddings, and for the price
i got it. it seemed perfect, being that i thought wedding videographers all used shuolder mounts. atleast the ones i saw in ny.

it shoots great in day light but need adjusting in low light situation

in my experience with it. when you go from a well lit room to a
dark room or vice versa, it takes time to adjust under auto mode.

it's very light as a matter of fact, it feels lighter than some handhelds.

by the way nice setup i just bought a 19 inch microtek lcd
beautiful picture got it at best buy marked down. to $319.
