button name "wide/pro cinema"
I was just wondering about the button on the gs400. On some models (probably the American types) you have the button "wide/procinema". My camera says "aspect/pro-cinema". Another example is "advanced magic pix", on my model it says "colour night view". I myself am from Europe. So is there any explanation for the differance in names, is it just for a commercial reason or is there something else involved.

Sounds like just a difference in wording. Wide indicates that you entering into widescreen 16:9 mode and aspect indicates you're changing your aspect ration from 4:3 to 16:9. Same end result other than you've got a few more pixels than the NTSC equivalent. :)
