What size is the tripod mounting hole?

I ordered a tripod off of ebay and it has no quick release plate. On B&H's site it lists two plates for my tripod. One 1/4'' screw size and one 3/8'' screw size. Which one should I order for my DVX-100A? I just ordered my DVX so it hasn't arrived yet, but wanted to order the plate ASAP. Thanks.

It's a standard "quarter twenty" meaning, 1/4" diameter and 20 threads per inch. Hope this helps,
