Convert Thin material to thick
hello everybody. I wonder how can i convert thin recorded material into thick video, so it looks well on the tv screen.
I coudl try to interpolate each field and blend it in vegas (as there are no fields we do not loose to much quality) but it gets to blur for me. Any other idea? thanks! |

Try adding a small amount of vertical blur in Vegas.

Most NLE's I've used have a de-flicker filter, which does exactly what you want. You'd typically use the de-flicker (or "reduce flicker") filter on a still photo that you'd scanned in, but it works well on thin-mode progressive also. In Premiere you'd choose "field options->reduce flicker", and in Vegas there's an option for flicker reduction in the resampling section.
