two quick tech questions about time code

Right now my time code line stays at all zeros. It doesnt move when playing back tapes or when recording...how do i go about fixing that.

Second, how can i get the camera to display the time code onto a VHS tape when I am recording what is on the dv tape to the vhs?

Thanks for your time guys.

the second, u need to hit the OSD (on screen display) button on the remote
