which tape?
hello everybody!
i have an dvx100a and i'm not quite sure about the tape i should use.thank you for any help! |

Panny Camera - panny tape. Panny PQ or MQ. I use MQ. Just don't mix brands. If you have been using another brand (especially Sony), run a cleaner tape thru your cam for 10-12 seconds before switching to Panny. Lubricants are different and can cause long term buildup on heads if you mix them. If you want more info, do a search, thsi question comes up alot in various forums.

I can second that.. although you should not overdo with the clening tape since it causes your heads to wear off.. Better stick to one brand!

i used 2 hours of tdk tape,is there any cleaning necessary?
and if so will the panasonic cleaning tape i got with the camera be fine?thank you again for help! |
