small teaser shot on DVX100be

Well hello everyone! we are in the process of writing a script for a tv-series
in sweden. We did a amall teaser just to get the feeling, and it would be
great to get some comments on it. Iīts shot with just about no budget, and a DVX100be with a homebuilt 35-adapter. The backfocus is unfortunatly a bit off in some scenes.
Donīt expect to understand the plot, itīs more to get a feel of the atmosphere.

It would just be fun to hear what you think!

Thanks

Caught my attention. Yeah. I'm interested. I'd like to see more. In my old age I tend to gravitate towards the characters embroiled inside their own heads. At least that is what I got out of what I've seen so far. Thank you for sharing.

I like

That was good, Jonas. You've got something going there. I hope you fix the back focus problem. However, you seem have a nice style going for yourself. BTW I noticed the Manolo Escobar record...interesting touch...lol however, when the subject puts the needle on the record, having the Elvis record lying by the side somewhere would've added a subtle but important touch to the scene. That way, I wouldn't have been expecting Manolo Escobar to start singing. Little details sometimes make a huge difference. Good overall look though...keep it up.

hey i really liked that.. it had a nice dirty feel to the piece.. clostrophobic and a real rawnes to it.. one thing though.. i think would really bring out that "gritty feel" (if thats where youre wanting to go wiht this) would be to use a vynil simulation filter over the audio.. just that subtle crackle and incessant hum would really play with the mind if the music stops BUT the record's vynil noise looping at the end continues.. now THAT would really make it feel a lil more authentic and pretty much like time stands still.. ;)
