DVX-100b: Filming won't go to tape

Hey, I'm new here at the boards. I purchased the DVX and have been using and loving it. But last night had a problem. I filmed a short little something, and then went back to the tape to find that what I filmed hadn't been captured on the tape (yes, there was a tape in there and I did press record). I figured that it was a bogus tape so I tried a new one. And then another. And another. And eventually it became clear that the problem wasn't in the tapes, but in the camera. Now I don't know what's going on, but something with my DVX-100b is preventing the tape from actually recording the footage I shoot. If someone could help me out, I would greatly apreciate it.

Not a single thing. It just has a blank blue screen, as if nothing were ever filmed. But at the same time, my old tapes aren't showing up either.

It was suggested to me that I use a cleaner cassette, that perhaps it is clogged. Hopefully that will work. I'll get back to you.

So, yeah, it ate the cleaner cassette. I've gotten to a point where there is nothing more to do, i need to bring it in for repair. Thanks for the help, anyway.
