You can not go to 720p in the Creative Movie Mode '24p Cinema;. So that would mean using the Manual Movie Mode' in the Creative Movie setting. It seems to do it there on 1080i and 720p. And the important part is to be in manual focus, for some reason AF knocks the shutter speed back up to 1/30.

You can't? On the GH1, you can record in 720p, there is no 720i. There is 1080i though, I just read it in the specs.
Recording rate etc. is set in the menu anyway, and shouldn't have anything to do with being in auto, manual, whatever. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. |

Jim, I'm thinking you're not in the right mode. I shot my camera at slow shutter speed and it created the effect you are wanting, no problem.
