GH2 audio channels
I am searching to purchase a gh2 and need to know the following. Can anyone please help me in this?
I understand that the gh2 has 2 audio channels. Are these separate? can I record directly into a channel with an external xlr mic? (using beachtek or similar? Will these show up as separtes channels in Pro cs5? or vegas? I want to record inside the camera. Thanks Ric |

The GH2 records in stereo, so the beachtek shoudl work fine for you, but you will need an adapter. The input on the gh2 is a super mini, I forget the jack size, but it's in the specs. I'm too tired too look it up for you, I'm headed to bed, but it should work out for you.

I have been checking around and a zoom hn4 gives me the same as a beachtek or juice for less plus i can record for channels if ever I needed to. So I think I will go with the zoom.
