I'm not a fan of static frame interviews so almost always shoot them on a 3:1 (or greater) zoom lens in order to reframe quickly without moving around, & potentially distracting the director, or interviewee.

Usually a second cameraperson covers another angle, also on a zoom, so the editors have lots to cut to.
