To Shoot HD or Not? music video...
Renting an HVX200 this weekend. I am going to attempt to shoot a music video but I have still not decided if I should be shooting HD or SD?
Do most guys shoot HD and then resize it to SD for broadcast? I would love anyones input on this. Thanks! |

I would recommend shooting in HD. If you have any rotoscoping or effects work, or just want to stabilize the image, HD provides more pixels to work with and gives you more options.
You can always scale down to SD in the end. And, if you ever want an HD version a few years from now, it's ready to go.
