Hi Gary,
I think you had the Manfrotto sticks before. I do too. Is the one I see on this picture a Vinten, and if so , is it more stable than the Frotto? |

Hi Luc I am now using Libec tripods and heads I have two H50 2 stage heads and a T57 and T68 set of legs. I find the heads far better than the manfrotto and the legs are a lot lighter.
Mid priced it came in at $850 with carbon fibre rails and camera mount for the 301.

Thanks for the information, Gary. I find the Manfrotto too light for the S270, so I'll look into the Libecs.
