Expresscard to PCMCIA

My new PC laptop has an Expresscard port, so to transfer P2 cards directly I need an adaptor. Several of the adaptors out there are known to not work with 16-bit PCMCIA cards (like the P2 cards). I am looking at one that may work, but thought I'd see if anyone has an adaptor that they like for this use ?

Re: Expresscard to PCMCIA

Hi Mark I bought a Duel adaptor a couple of years ago but have been unable to get it to work with my macbook pro, I know others have had success with it but I now just use my old powerbook G4 to copy if I need to.

You are welcome to have it to try with your system as it is just sitting here collecting dust and redundant, e-mail me your address and I will put it in the post for you.

Re: Expresscard to PCMCIA

I bought an adapter online that was designed with P2 in mind and has worked flawlessly on my Toshiba laptop with Windows 7. Cost about $30 and is a much cheaper solution than paying thousands for a P2 card reader.
