Is the 4GB P2 card dead?

I just saw on B&H that the 8Gb card will cost $2,199. While the 4Gb card will cost $2,099 and is expected to arrive in November 2005. Is the 4GB already dead without even being released? Will it's price go down to half to still be a purchase option?

Don't believe everything you read on B&H's site. Don't believe a lot of things, actually.

The 4gb card has been on the market for a year or more. It's what people shooting with SPX800's are already using. And in December 2005 it'll cost a tremendous amount less than B&H's listed $2099!
