Ah, Jim,

I happened to have the reflecmedia with green light here. Hehe.

What should we shoot for this collaboration?

Marc Olivier Chouinard January 2nd, 2006 07:43 AM

Donation slowed down my lost alittle, it help to keep it up. Cost is 92 $ so far, total donation is 16$. It not much but I apreciate alot people who did contribute. There is less traffic also, that helping rightnow. It started with 150gig/day. That mean 11 donation per day of 4$ would have been needed to cover the cost. Paypal also take 42cent per transaction !!!

Im still thinking of a $ subscription based system, so people pay for their traffic, so I'll be sure not to lose anything.

Im mirroring those new files again ;)

Anyhow, I posted a lot more ay my site including various DVCPRO50 formats.

Marc, will the donation give you enough to cover the expenses? Please let me know because I want to know for the future references. My company's server is holding up since I set it through registration scheme to control the traffic.

Lee,
I'm glad that it is working for you.

That is right, I forgot about your rig! I remember it from your FX1 testing. You could always get the singer back, and tell her it's for a good cause! :)

Seriously, anything is fine as a subject, just turn the camera detail down to, say, -5 as Barry Green suggests. And no hurry, we've got lots to look at thanks to you.

Jim,

I will do something tomorrow, I hope.

Our reflecmedia is with 2m x 2m chromatte, so can't do anything large (especially the video being 16x9), so it will be bust and up.
Why don't I shoot someone on one side of the screen, and you can put the back ground and a CG cast on the other side?

......to do this, I should start a new thread. Please respond to the new thread for this particular collaboration.

I posted a comparison zip file with 0 gain and +12db at my site (this is FCP files).

Thanks Kaku - loved the little girl running. Barry's nailed it I think. -5 seems to be sweet.

The other 2 comparisons: at 0 err umm hmm, +12 = eek.
