I have to say, too, that despite several retailers' claims that "nobody is selling these below list," I was able to order one from my regular supplier (anticipated 4-5 week delivery) for $5350. They also advised me to wait until closer to camera delivery time to order P2s, since they have a hunch the prices on them will continue to drop as a strategy to combat HDV. Panasonic is selling the P2 cards at a HUGE profit margin, and probably will have to keep dropping the prices.
