MiniDV Sizing?
I know the whole idea about moving to the HVX is to avoid using MiniDV tapes, but I was curious what the HVX is capable of recording using MiniDV. Can some correct me if I'm wrong on this:
With the HVX you can record 24p (over 60i?) at 480 in true anamorphic widescreen (i.e. not in "stretch", rather using the full wide-aspect sensors) on MiniDV? Thanks and sorry for the über-basic question, just couldn't find a concise, straight answer anywhere especially with regard to the widescreen part. |

basically its a DVX100 and does everything the DVX does, however it also gives you full native 16:9 and i think anohter gamma curve (news gamma from memory)
this is just for tape mode... when u start to talk about p2, then its a different kettle of fish.. |
