Recording outboard DV to P2 at DVinfo.net

Is there a way to record DV from another camcorder onto P2 cards ? One possible way might be to input DV from the other camcorder into the firewire input on the HVX-200 and record onto P2, but I don't know if this is allowed. Alternatively, could you capture the DV from the camcorder into, say Edius Broadcast, then print it back to the P2 card. I'll be ordering the HVX-200 soon and am trying to figure out problems ahead of time.

Yes you could do it both ways.
