DVX Century Optics wide angle on HVX
Was wondering if anyone has tried mounting the DVX version of the Century Optics .6 Wide Angle adapter on an HVX. From their site, it looks like the dimensions are pretty much the same. Sure would like to hang onto my current adapter.

I doubt it,
I have a DVX100 and the HVX200, I have a Century Fisheye for the HVX and I just looked and the DVX front mount is smaller... |

Won't fit, the HVX lens is quite a bit physically larger in diameter.
You can keep your current adapter and get Century to re-mount it for the HVX, but I don't know if the glass is quite compatible or not. |

I have mounted the 72mm Panasonic Wide angle adapter ( I think its a .7 but its not mine & I'm not sure.) It works great in 4:3 but NG on wise screen. Probably would be the same with a .6
Just need a 82 > 72 step down ring. |
