HVX-200 or HVX-202 for film out?
Hi All.
I kinda have a gut feeling about this anyway, but thought I would ask in case someone here has experience actually DOING it! Do you feel that shooting with the HVX-200 in 24P is better for eventual film-out, or will the HVX-202 work fine in 25P with 4% slow-down in post? I am in Pal-land so obviously the whole power adaptor thing etc will be easier with the 202 version, not to mention other projects for broadcast, but if going to film-out is better with 24P on the 200 version I will go that direction. Thoughts? |

I think the PAL version shoots cleaner video....
Plus the specs on 1080 PAL video are 1440x1080 in DVCPRO HD vs. 1280 x 1080 for the 200 version at 1080..... Don't know if the chip set is different? |
