Mastering Finished Edits from P2
Just getting up to speed with my camera and waiting for my first card (free 8gb) from Panasonic. But I have a quick question.
Assuming you are going directly to broadcast and want to stay in the HD realm. What are people mastering their finished products to? |

You probably want to keep it tapeless until your final product, ie keep your product on a hard drive, take to a post production house, and have them finish it to whatever tape format you need. Best to work backwards, talk to your (broadcast) client and find out what format they prefer, then find a post house who can handle your files on your drives with whatever sweetening / graphics / sound finishing you need. . .. |

Hopefully BluRay authoring tools will be available soon. Maybe they'll debut at NAB 2007.
