Increasing Latitude with the HVX200

Are there any tricks to increasing dynamic range/latitude with the HVX200, or is it not possible?

Shooting at the correct exposure and highlihting 2-3 stops over really help...but are there any settings that I can change that will give me a little more play?

Thankyou,

Grant Carden

Tiffen makes some Ultra-Contrast filters that will in effect give you a little more dynamic range. Basically they come in a series 1/8 to 5 strengths. For Architecture outdoors I use a 1 Ultra-Con that opens up the shadows without losing any highlight detail. These filters can be spendy.
Some posts talk about Gamma changes to change dynamic range. You might try that. Someone mentioned he shoots with HD Normal gamma and has good luck with that.
Good luck.
