BH has them in stock...anyone got one coming yet? Curious to see how it'll do for HD video. Could be a cheap(er) b-cam that I wouldn't be afraid to mount to a car or motorcycle!

Hi Guys

The reviews so far look good for the camera.. Does anyone know what sort of continuous 1080 record time we might expect??? What also looks pretty useful is the claim of autofocus too. I was looking for something small enough that could run on a small steadicam like the Melin without the need for a vest and hardware to get creative shots.

I however very much doubt whether I would use 30X zoom for video shoots.

We have kits here including case/spare battery etc etc going for AUS$658.00 or the camera alone for AUS$568.00

Some user comments, especially on the video capture side will be well worth a look!!

Two and a half hours of continuous recording at maximum resolution (1920x1080 30P), almost three and a half hours at 720P on a 16GB SDHC card - impressive.

Product brochure here: http://www.fujifilm.ca/documents/Fuji_HS10_CB.pdf

Wow, records stereo PCM audio! I downloaded the video samples - 1080 30P video is 18.4Mbps total (16.6 Mbps video + PCM audio), 720 30P is 13.2Mbps total (also PCM audio). All H.264 AVCHD.

NTSC and PAL selectable!

My wife's bday is coming up and she said no more cellphones! Wondering... Is that a good enough excuse to get this baby?
