Somone touched the light

I have 2 photoflex starlite ql lights and the bulbs have been touched a lot by human hands apparently in transport. They have not been turned on of course but they will need to be tomorrow. I thought I could just clean it with rubbing alcohol but now I am unsure about that too. Does anyone have any suggests since I don't want to ruin the light by cleaning it or just leaving it?

rubbing alcohol should work, just make sure it is dry before turning the lights on
