Cheap Lighting

I did research, I went to renting houses and looked at lights and at the end of the day I decided screw it all, I bought 10x 500W Flood Lights at a local hardware store for $5 each, had the glass cover sand blaster and made my own barn doors. I shoot weddings mainly and sometimes a few interviews or plays. I could not justifying paying so much for lights when a basic $5 light would give me the same colour temperature I needed.

Stage lighting is a different story however you don't have to spend thousands, every client is different and not every one has a huge budget. See what you can get your hands on and improvise, light is light and digital camera don't need perfect colour temperatures.
