Battery Lights: How do you mount your batteries on the stand?

I have a Matthews stand for travel to get my Ledzilla off axis. However, since I power it with the d-tap on SWIT 8U62 batteries, I was coming up with ways to mount it on the light stand. Not really happy with any of them thus far. Anyone tackled this problem with battery powered lights?

In the past I've used a small utility tool bag from the big box home improvement store put the battery in it and then used a super clamp on the stand and attached the bag to it. the bag is a smaller sized utility bag not a big tool bag. Currently I power of a Bescor double battery belt and hang it off the super clamp. I made a "patch cord" to go from the power tap cable from the light to a cig adapter on the battery belt. It works fine.

Sometimes we just gotta invent stuff as we go. I think we're all more tinkerers than anything else. ;-)

Yes. I think hanging is the way to go. I looked at my collection of pouches and the ones from Westside AV are the perfect size for the SWIT 8U62 batteries. THe D-Tap is nicely exposed out the top and the pouch has a built-in plastic hook at the top so the weight goes straight down. A small hole in the top quicklok tab of the stand with a key ring provides a mount point. Tinker ..... tinker.... indeed.
