Lighting store in San Diego? at DVinfo.net

I'm in the process of figuring out what lighting kit to buy to start producing small scale shorts, but I'd like to check them out in person (the Lowel DV Creator 55 Kit looks like a good starter but I'd like to see it first hand). Frankly I'd like to buy a used kit, but I'm hard pressed to find anything, even on Ebay, that isn't close to the new prices.

Can anyone recommend a video/film lighting store in San Diego, or would I be better served by trekking to LA?
