Yes, the camera was at Sony repair for board replacement (under warranty) + FW update.

Thanks for your kind suggestion -- perhaps once it's listed on ebay I'll do that. Really just trying to sense if there's any interest beyond speculative interest here before doing that.

The adjustments on the 2 springs inside the arm are knowwhere near the limit needed to balance the EX1, so plenty more scope for different cameras.
Everything in excellent condition.

I've got for sale my 120GB Firestore FS-4HD capable of 13hours of HDV recording time and very fast footage offloading -- 5-10x realtime

The firestore is well beaten up but works great.. screen has some deep scratches and LCD is sluggish, battery retention clip is broken but battery stays in when attached in included holster.

The factory battery is included (with a broken retention clip as mentioned), factory holster thing, and a small 4-6 firewire cable (if requested).

-on-camera microphone is badly loose (shotgun mic holder is solid)
-firewire port is loose, but works with a jiggle - worked fine with a firestore
-shotgun mic holder screw is no longer straight, a little off-center from a bump, but still screws

Camera overall is cosmetically decent and functionally great. I can show videos that were shot with it. Original manual, battery, and charger are included.
