Note: This version is for DESKTOP systems; not laptops. (If you need to use this with a laptop, you can purchase an ExpressCard/34 adapter for it at most any pro video store.)

Everything is in *MINT* condition.

Reason for selling; not utilizing it because of using different NLE's that don't support it. Used it only once for a 3 minute project ... with FCP6.

Included is everything that originally came with the unit (cables, power supply, PCIe card, connecting cable from card to unit, power outlet adapters... see PHOTO HERE). No retail box; but have the Mini and PCIe card in static free bags.

Prefer local pickup (Bay Area, CA), but will consider shipping. Shipping and insurance charges will be the buyers responsibility.

Nathan, fwiw I bought one several mos ago here on DVI, and the positive impact on my workflow has been well worth the price.

If anyone has a need, these units are a great addition in my opinion.

Larry, be aware that the capacitors in camcorders of this type and age (including the Sony VX3, Canon A1, L1, L2 etc.) tend to leak over time, ruining the internal electronics. If you find one that still works, it's just a matter of time before it won't work anymore unless you can locate an electronics repair firm that can replace the capacitors for you (factory service is no longer available for camcorders of that era). The tell-tale sign of impending doom is an offensive "rotten eggs" smell coming out of the tape transport chassis when it's opened up, and it happens to *all* Hi-8 camcorders, sooner or later. Just so you know.

Looking to sell a clean and in very good shape Sony EX-1. No markings on camera or other areas other than around the handgrip which I used in shooting. Lens clean, has a B&W UV haze filter over it. Original packaging for shipping.
Shot only 46 hours. Included are three batteries-BP-U30's, 2-8gig Sony SXS cards, 1-16gig Sony SXS card, the USB card reader, a Kata RC-10 rain cover. Replaced the plastic shotgun mount with a metal coldshoe for better durability and mounting, although I have two Sony shotgun mounts that can be swapped out. Also the Vortex 2-DVD set guide to using the PMW-EX1.
Did two seasons, 18 games, of football highlights for a small daily newspaper. Payment through PayPal, looking for $6,000.00

I have one not in working condition, having suffered the fate that Chris mentioned more than a decade ago. If you need it for a prop, it would be useful for that. These old things probably aren't worthwhile to repair.

Glidecam 4000 Pro w/forearm brace
 

Slightly used Glidecam 4000 Pro with Glidecam forearm brace (really helps with fatigue). The plastic label wrap on the Glidecam has a few minor scratches in it, but nothing that bad and it is in perfect operating order. The two right now retail new for $500 total, I will sell mine for $300 including UPS Ground or will consider trade for lenses compatible with Canon 7D.

In very good shape. Purchased in late 2001. Never has been serviced, probably needs good a tune-up.

The only known issue is that the tape transport likes to have a tape in, or it will want to eject, even though it's empty. Other than that, it's been a great camera. Never ate a tape.

I'm guessing it has about 1000 hrs. on it. I have a deck for playback.
Comes with 2 batteries, charger/ac adapter, MA-100 XLR adapter, A/V & S cables and Portabrace bag Porta Brace | CTC-2 Traveler Camera Case (Signature Blue).
