HV-30 Accessories: Lens, Mic, Batteries, etc.

[WHY I AM SELLING]
This past week my HV-30 was stolen from recent story subject's apartment after a break-in. I let him borrow my camera to download some footage. Never again will I let someone borrow gear.

With that, some of the accessories weren't on the camera, so I am unloading them. I will be purchasing a new video camera setup.

[CONDITION]
All are in MINT condition, and to be honest, maybe each used twice. I mostly did interviews with Lav mics.

I do have boxes, but they are at my girlfriend's place in Maryland. If you really want them, I can have her dig them up. But I can verify that this stuff was bought and U.S. brand from B&H Video in December 2008 if need be.

[WHAT I AM SELLING]
1) Canon WD-H43 - Wide Converter: Asking $110 Paypal & Shipped OBO
2) Canon DM-50 Microphone (hot shoe): Asking $110 Paypal & Shipped OBO
3) Canon B-2LW Battery Charger: Asking $25 Paypal & Shipped OBO

Buy it all for: $215 Paypal & Shipped OBO

(All shipping will be through UPS Ground, unless you want to pay for faster shipping)

[VOUCHES]
Please e-mail if interested, as I often forget to check this Web site. I have done many sales on here in the past when I was heavily into video rather than photography, including my sale of my Canon GL-2.

I am also an active memeber on the acclaimed Sports Shooter. You can also check out my Web site at: Utah Photographer Patrick Smith || Editorial & Commercial || 410.458.5163.

Not to step in on Bruce's WTB post, but what is the length of those rails you have?

Cheers,
David

Bruce S. Yarock December 3rd, 2009 02:59 AM

Kevin,
Who made or markets those rails? Any links?
Thanks
Bruce Yarock

Kevin Sawicki December 3rd, 2009 04:45 AM

The company that made them is called TotoCine
They had a site, totocine.com, but for some reason it is down.
They sold the rail system on their site for $250 + $100 shipping from Korea.
They are 15mm rods and are perfect for a small camera or dslr.
I just upgraded to their new shoulder rig a few months ago so I have no need for this.

FS. 24-105mm f/4L IS USM AF Lens

I'm selling my Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS USM AF Lens. The one the came with my 5Dm2. it did not use much only handfull of pictures and couple minute of video around the house. I mostly use my 24-70 2.8 and the 50 1.8 so this len does not get any chance to use it much.

It will come with front cap rear cap and what ever that come with when I got the 5d. dont know if they have a box for the lens itselft only or not. I have to check. When i got my 5D i only took out the body, the lens(front and rear caps are on the len), battery, charger and the rest i didn't even bother to look so ask all question please. If you need picture please pm me thank you.

Asking price $900 shipped. BH have it for $1149 so this is a steal deal. Thank you.

i'm not that desperate to sell it. with that price there isn't much advantage in selling it for a MxR combo then. a 7-1 and 5-1 price difference is worth it, but your offer brings that ratio way down. thanks anyways.

JVC BR-HD50 HDV/DV deck - $1300

3 Attachment(s)
Greetings,

I am selling my JVC BR-HD50 HDV deck for $1300. Just drop the price after a reality check. This deck is in great shape and only has 168 hours on the heads. The deck plays back and records both HDV and DV. The deck has component, composite, S-Video, Firewire 400 and HDMI outputs as well as RS-422A interface for deck control. The only reason I'm selling this is because I no longer have a need for an HDV/DV player/recorder. The deck comes with a power cord and remote control. For more information on the deck google BR-HD50 or go to JVC's website. Feel free to contact me through this post or john at ttweak dot com with any questions.

Thanks,
John

Z1 x2

Greetings all,

I have two Z1s that are about two years old (but loved and cherished) that I wish to sell (I am going to go totally tapeless, totally HD, with 2x EX1s).

I can sell them as they are, or - for £350 more per camera - I can have the lenses checked over and re-aligned, and have new tape mechanisms fitted (effectively putting them at better than factory-fresh).

Just testing the water - would folks here prefer cheaper and the risk at some point the mechanism would need a change, or more expensive with the happy feeling that the mechanism's fresh outta the box with a good few years of faultless performance?

Please understand I'm not made of money, and spending £700 to sell kit is a bit of a blow (with no idea of a return on that). But if the buying community says 'I prefer new innards over bargain price' then so be it...

FWIW, each Z1 will come with a couple of big batts and the tiddler batt, the charger and the cables. £2350, fully serviced (i.e. £2k as they are).

How do you feel? Serviced or cheaper?

PS: Will also have 0.7x Century, 1.6x Century, Bebob Zoe LANC controller, Fig Rig and a couple of other Z1-specific items for sale too. All items cherished and loved.

Greetings,

I'm selling my wide angle converter that I used with my JVC HD100 for $280. It's a great piece of glass and in perfect shape. This converter offers a 18% wider angle of view to your camera's master lens (I used with Fujinon 16x5.5), giving you the ability to make that wide shot possible or shoot in small environments. There is no light lose and the f/stop remains constant. It has an 82mm rear thread. Please contact me through this post or john at ttweak dot com if you have any questions.

Thanks!

drum hours 293
Was bought new from a certified JVC dealer on long island about 2.5 years ago.

No abuse to the body, no cracks, no dents, no scratches on the LCD.
Camera heads are in great condition, never actually had a dropout thus far.
The camera viewfinder is in good condition, I will say that the wire is a little weird
every once and a while the viewfinder will get this slight yellow hue to it, this is a known issue with the JVC which I was told. It doesn't effect the images being shot, and it happens on and off but usually its fine, sometimes I can unplug and replug back in the cable a few times and it goes away, I don't even notice it because its usually on a tripod and the LCD is used which is perfectly fine and not affected by the above mentioned.

The lens has always stayed on the body, the zoom controls are perfect, the lens has NO scratches on the front or rear element. Free of any clouding or fungus, firewire port is perfect and not bent out of shape. It has never been blown I have always properly turned on and off the computer and camera as told by JVC.

The IDX battery is great, lasts a long time, holds full charge. Other JVC batteries hold full charge they are hardly used, I've always had the IDX battery so no need for the others.
The bottom tripod thread is in good condition and not stripped or damaged in any way.

Its a solid camera and has shot a lot of great footage. Only reason for selling is upgrading.

Jay Webster December 3rd, 2009 07:59 PM

I assume the camera is with the stock lens.
Would you consider selling it without the lens?

Great reliable deck, very low hours - 7x10 on the drum run (email me for pics)...I was only user, clean beyond measure, clean environment, excellent deck. Comes with everything as original with box, plus cleaning tape, 1 unopened 63 min SONY HDV tape ($10 value) and never used blank 64 minute DVcam tape ($17 value). See below for what the deck is and does:

"Incorporating a compact and simple design, the HVR-M15U is well suited for desktop applications. With its included stand, the HVR-M15U can also stand vertically during normal operations. The HVR-M15U offers HDV 1080i, DVCAM and DV SP recording and playback capability for easy migration from standard to high definition production, as well as playback of HDV 720p pre-recorded tapes (analog output only). Compatible with mini-size DV cassettes, it is also compatible with standard-size cassettes that allow up to 276 minutes of HDV recording with compatible tapes. Additionally, the HVR-M15U also has a down-conversion function from HD to SD and is switchable between 60 and 50 Hz (NTSC/PAL) to provide full flexibility depending on production needs."

Sony PMW-EX3, like new, with extras, very low hours

To Whom It May Interest,

I am considering the sale of my EX3 that I purchased in late February of 2009. It is in pristine condition, and has 48 operating hours on it in total.

I'm thinking about selling it because I have been hired more, lately, for sound work, and am collaborating on projects with far more experienced DPs who have their own cameras, so the lovely EX3 is not living the life it deserves.

I really love the camera, so I'm asking a fair price, and won't be crestfallen if it doesn't sell (while my wallet might resent me). If you could give it a better home, though, please do drop me a line.

It has been recently upgraded with Sony's tripod stability package and a single piece DM accessories reinforced baseplate (altogether, a more than $250 upgrade), that offers more solid mounting as well as versatility for various tripod plate or rail screw sizes.

For your technical enlightenment, I will also throw in Doug Jensen's Mastering the Sony EX3 DVD set ($99.95 value).

So,

$8000.00 includes, Mint in box, with original documentation...

14x Fujinon Zoom Lens
Lens Hood
LO-3830 1/2" Lens Adapter
IR Remote Control
USB Cable
Component Video Cable
Shoulder Strap
Operation Manual
XDCAM EX Clip Browsing Software
SxS Driver Software
BP-U30 Battery
BC-U1 Battery Charger
(1-Year Limited Warranty from Sony, which runs through late February)

plus...

Sony Tripod Mounting Upgrade Kit Installed
DM Accessories Reinforced, multithreaded Baseplate

I would be happy to post photographs if there are any serious inquiries.

Thanks, all the best,

JB
