The FireStore FSC-HD60 60GB DTE Recorder for XL Series from Canon is a digital video recorder designed for use with the XL series of camcorders. The FireStore connects to the camera via a FireWire connection and allows you to record video directly to it, facilitating a tapeless workflow. The recorders supports the DV and HDV video formats, allowing you to record up to 4.5 hours of 1080i HD or DV25 footage.

• Video Storage and Management
The 60 GB FireStore can hold up to 4.5 hours of video. Users who require more recording time can link 2 FireStore devices together, effectively doubling capacity. The recorder features a 10-second retro cache, ensuring that you won't miss that perfect shot. It even allows you to categorize clips by placing them in prenamed folders during shooting, helping to improve your editing workflow.

• NLE Compatibility
The FireStore is compatible with almost every Mac and PC NLE system. You have the option of recording SD video in RawDV, AVI TYpe 1, AVI Type 2, AVI Type 2 24p, Matrox AVI, Canopus AVI, QuickTime, QuickTime 24p, Avid OMF or Pinnacle AVI formats. HD video is recorded as a 1080i MPEG-2 transport stream. This allows you to seamlessly integrate your NLE into your workflow, eliminating the need to capture, transfer or convert files prior to working with them.

• Designed for Field Use
The FireStore was designed with use in the field in mind. It features a removable and rechargeable battery and even allows for time-lapse recording when in DV mode. It also supports retro disk recording and scene marking, making it an ideal solution for handheld shoots.

Sony PDW-F350 XDCAM HD camera

I have a Sony PDW-F350 for sale. I purchased it form Abel-Cine in February of 2007. I have taken very good care of it and it has always worn a Kata-Glove on the body. I recently purchased a Sony EX-3 and find that I no longer need both cameras. I am asking $12,500 for the camera body..
